The location is a retail store and art gallery that features a well-planned inventory of similar brands and is also a venue for events to complement special Atlas-specific projects. Shops and brands are the result of a group of individuals working hard and working hard to keep the true definition of skateboarding and the culture around it.

ATLAS SKATEBOARDING CRACKED
With the uppers made entirely from weathered and cracked leather, these sneakers really do look like they were actually ‘Lost at Sea’. Given our first look thanks to Nike SB team athlete Theotis Beasley, the sneaker uses a grey and soft blue colorway with a unique font for the Nike SB “Atlas” script on the tongue badge.
Teasing out the images early in the morning, Atlas Sneakers presented the results of this compelling collaboration. Taking style cues from the effects mother nature had on these adrift sneakers – decay as a result of the ocean water and unfiltered sunlight – the ‘Lost at Sea’ dunks were born. If you’re a fan of The Simpsons and the Short-shorts scene from the episode Homer the Heretic, you know what’s coming. While it may seem a little strange to name a skate shoe after being lost in open water, the story behind the Atlas x Nike SB Dunk High “Lost at Sea” sneakers is pretty incredible. Taking inspiration from the Air Flight 90 sneakers lost overboard all those years ago, these new dunks represent another glorious and collaborative addition to Nike’s skate-geared label for 2020.Ĭoming off the back of terrific team-ups with Instant Skateboards, Civilist, Strangelove, and many others, Nike is back on the board with Atlas Skateboarding to craft a brand new pair of sneakers from the SB Dunk High line.
